Think well

Thinking well is the foundation of living your best life. However, it’s impossible to control your mind and emotions directly. The only solution is to practice the art of mindfulness, to become the observer of your thoughts and feelings. The practice of mindfulness allows you to hold your thoughts lightly. Their effect on you becomes less controlling.

The second step is to make certain the diet you’re feeding your mind is positive. If you regularly watch or read the news and involve yourself in things that you have no control over, you’re going to struggle. You’re literally programming your subconscious brain with fear when you feed on the news.

Spend your time reading positive literature, dine on anything that makes you laugh and feel good.  Involve yourself in positive conversations about a hopeful future.

Eat well

Your brain is only 2% of your total body weight, but it consumes 20% of the resources/energy your body produces.

Put simply, what you eat directly affects the structure and function of your brain and, ultimately, your mood.
